The big day for future Cal alumni will be here before you know it! This year’s University of California, Berkeley graduation ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at California Memorial Stadium, 2227 Piedmont Ave, Berkeley, CA 94720.
UC Berkeley Commencement Ceremony
The UC Berkeley graduation ceremony begins at 10:00 am and will last about two and a half hours. Graduates can purchase tickets for friends and family members; any remaining guest tickets may be purchased on the day of commencement at the Memorial Stadium entrance. Children 2 and under do not need tickets and can attend for free. It is advised to bring sunscreen and a hat.
Parking for UC Berkeley Graduation
For those who choose to drive, all UC Berkeley campus parking lots will be open to attendees on first-come, first serve basis. The closest parking structure is the Stadium Parking Structure located at 2175 Gayley Rd., Berkeley, CA 94720. Please refer to www.berkeley.edu/map for a campus map. On graduation day, a Berkeley campus shuttle will be available for all graduates and their guests. A Cal Bear Transit shuttle eastbound near the Downtown Berkeley BART station will also be available.
